Growing up on Norfolk Island, with my Mum working at the Tourist Information Centre, I often went with her as she showed all the travel agents around the Island during their familiarisation trips. From here I knew that some day I would be in the Travel Industry.

Living in London for a year and then San Sebastian (Spain) for a year, prior to having my children, gave me the most rewarding experiences that at the time I didn’t know were possible. Living in these beautiful places allowed me a depth of understanding of a way of life that was so very different to what I had known. Immersing myself into these cultures, learning a new language (Spanish), experiencing different foods have all contributed to my ongoing passion for travel.

I began my career in travel working as a retail travel agent in Brisbane. Creating the ultimate travel itinerary, suited to my client’s needs, was my passion. Hearing about how much they enjoyed their time away, was enough to put a big smile on my face.

Joining Solo Connections was a dream come true! Whilst you will mostly find me tucked away in an office creating these amazing tours that we have for you, I look forward to assisting our wonderful passengers on our Norfolk Island tours.
