Day 2

City Sights (B-D)
This morning after breakfast we will enjoy a city sights tour. Once considered a sleepy city, Adelaide has undergone a rapid transformation with world-class art, music and sporting facilities to discover. Our day is going to be full of rich history starting with a leisurely stroll along Adelaide’s tree lined boulevard, North Terrace with our local expert. If you enjoy cricket, AFL or sport in general our next guided tour will be a highlight at the Adelaide Oval, as we are taken into the ground’s inner sanctum. Afterwards, we visit the Bradman Collection, a private collection of memorabilia from Australia’s great Sir Donald Bradman. We have time to purchase lunch (at own expense) at the Adelaide Central Markets where the choices are endless. Stroll through various produce stalls, enjoy the multicultural cuisine and discover some of Adelaide’s most popular cafes. Enjoy dinner this evening together in the hotel.

Day 3

McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Peninsula (B-L)
Up at sparrows call as today we travel to the Fleurieu Peninsula and visit Victor Harbour. The area is known for its surf beaches, fishing and winter sightings of the Southern Right Whale. We take the interactive journey at the South Australian Whale Centre. Our guide, with the help of audio-visual displays, artefacts and 3D theatrette, will introduce us to these magnificent creatures. We ride the historic Horse Drawn Tram across the Causeway to Granite Island. Feel the ocean breeze as the beautiful Clydesdale horses draw us along the jetty bridge. Enjoy free time to explore the rugged coastline or spot the little penguins that inhabit this island. This afternoon we re-trace our steps to McLaren Vale, known as the birthplace of South Australia’s wine industry. Set amongst the tranquil lake, gorgeous vines and 200-year-old gum trees is Serafino Winery. Relax in this beautiful location as we enjoy a wine tasting over a delicious late lunch. We have time to explore the McLaren Vale township before returning to Adelaide.

Day 4

Day at Leisure (B-D)
We have a free day in Adelaide* today. You might like to take in the beauty and diversity of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, see giant pandas at the Adelaide Zoo or wander the Art Gallery of South Australia and neighbouring South Australia Museum.
