Day 1
Arrive Broome (D)
This morning those passengers travelling from Brisbane will meet with the Tour Host at Brisbane Domestic Airport for the flight to Broome. Interstate passengers can meet the host either enroute at Perth Airport or on arrival at Broome Airport. On arrival in Broome, we will be met and taken on a fascinating tour of this iconic Kimberley town, discovering its rich history, unique culture, and spectacular coastal scenery. Beginning at the famous Cable Beach, you will hear the captivating stories of Broome’s colourful past, including Lord Alistair McAlpine’s remarkable vision for the town. From there, we explore the striking red cliffs and ancient dinosaur footprints at Gantheaume Point before continuing to Town Beach, vibrant Chinatown, and the heritage-listed Japanese Cemetery. Following the tour, we transfer to our beautiful accommodation, your home for the next four nights. This evening, relax and get to know your fellow travellers over a delicious Welcome Dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2
Broome (B,L)
This morning, we travel to the renowned Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park to discover the legacy of the famous bushman, filmmaker, and conservationist. Home to more than 2,500 crocodiles and alligators, this unique park is far more than a wildlife attraction, reflecting Malcolm Douglas’s passion for education, conservation, and respect for Australia’s native wildlife. Set within a natural bush environment just outside Broome, the park offers incredible close-up viewing opportunities and unforgettable photo moments with enormous saltwater crocodiles, some measuring over five metres in length. During an exciting live feeding demonstration, experienced handlers share fascinating insights into these powerful reptiles. Following our visit, we head to the iconic Matso’s Brewery to enjoy lunch along with a tasting paddle of their famous locally brewed beers and ginger beer. After lunch, we return to the hotel where the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. This evening, we make our way to Town Beach for the famous Staircase to the Moon Night Markets. Widely regarded as one of the best places to witness this natural phenomenon, the markets also feature live music, delicious food stalls, and local artisan products, creating a vibrant and memorable Broome experience.
Day 3
Broome (B,L,D)
After breakfast this morning, we travel to the renowned Willie Creek Pearl Farm for a fascinating half-day tour, including lunch. This immersive experience offers a unique insight into the world of modern cultured pearl farming, taking you on the remarkable journey from shell to showroom. Here we will learn what makes the perfect pearl as expert guides explain every stage of the pearling process. Beginning in the state-of-the-art hatchery, you’ll discover how oysters are collected and spawned before gaining an understanding of the delicate seeding and harvesting techniques used to cultivate these prized gems. The tour concludes with an introduction to pearl grading, valuation, and the creation of exquisite jewellery pieces. A highlight of the experience is a cruise along the stunning azure waters of Willie Creek, where you’ll see live oysters suspended in their natural environment amongst the region’s native flora and fauna. Following the tour, we return to the hotel, with the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. This evening, enjoy dinner at the Cable Beach House, perfectly positioned on the sand dunes overlooking the breathtaking waters of Cable Beach.
Day 4
Broome (B,D)
This morning is yours to enjoy at leisure, with the opportunity to simply relax and make the most of the hotel facilities or perhaps choose from one of the optional touring experiences available in Broome. Alternatively, you may choose to go on the optional* Half Day Horizontal Falls tour (own expense). Later today, we embark on a memorable Coastlines and Cocktails Cruise, showcasing the spectacular beauty of Broome from the water. As we glide through crystal-clear turquoise waters teeming with marine life, enjoy sparkling wine and delicious grazing platters while soaking up the vibrant colours of the Kimberley coast. Along the way, we will make a scenic beach landing, the perfect opportunity for photos and time to enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere. The experience concludes at a stunning beachside venue, where refreshing cocktails and tapas create the perfect setting to unwind with fellow travellers while taking in the breathtaking shoreline views.

Day 5
Broome – Kununurra – El Questro, Emma Gorge (B,D)
This morning, we visit the Broome Historical Museum, where you’ll gain fascinating insights into Broome’s rich pearling heritage, the town’s role during World War II, and the remarkable prehistoric history of the region’s dinosaurs. We then continue to the Black Stump Gallery and the Nagula Jarndu Women’s Art Centre, where you’ll discover the vibrant local art scene and learn more about the culture and stories of the region’s Indigenous artists. Following our touring, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Kununurra. Upon arrival, we are met and transferred to the iconic El Questro Station, where we stay at the beautiful Emma Gorge retreat. After check-in, enjoy some free time to relax and take in the stunning surroundings and station facilities. This evening, dinner will be served at the retreat restaurant.

Day 6
El Questro (B,L,D)
Today, immerse yourself in the spectacular landscapes and experiences of El Questro as we explore some of the region’s most iconic highlights. The day begins with a visit to the beautiful Emma Gorge, where there will be opportunities for those wishing to take one of the scenic hikes and enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. Please note: hiking in this region requires high mobility, with the Emma Gorge hike rated as grade 4 track. Guests should be agile and physically fit to navigate uneven and rocky terrain. We then enjoy exclusive access to the soothing Zebedee Springs, a tranquil oasis surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and towering palms, the perfect place to relax and soak in the unique beauty of the Kimberley. Please note: For the Zebedee Springs and Chamberlain Gorge Cruise, a moderate level of fitness is recommended. Afterwards, we return to the restaurant to enjoy a delicious “Beef or Barra” lunch, showcasing flavours inspired by the Australian outback. This afternoon, we continue to Chamberlain Gorge for a relaxing cruise along the gorge, where dramatic cliffs and vibrant greenery provide a breathtaking backdrop to this unforgettable Kimberley experience. Be sure to bring your camera, hat, bathers, water bottle, and comfortable footwear for the day’s activities.
Day 7
El Questro – Kununurra (B,D)
Leaving El Questro Station this morning, we travel to Kununurra with a stop at the spectacular Mirima National Park, often referred to as the “Mini Bungle Bungles” due to its striking sandstone formations. There will be time to explore the area and enjoy one of the easy self-guided walks that wind through the fascinating landscape, all conveniently located close to the car park. Following our visit, we continue to Kununurra and check into our accommodation, where we will spend the next two nights. For those that would like to, you have the chance to take a remarkable optional* flight over Purnululu National Park to see the Bungle Bungle Range (own expense). For those not wanting to fly you will visit the Kununurra Museum, operated by the dedicated volunteers of the Kununurra Historical Society. The museum houses a fascinating collection of artefacts and displays, including exhibits on the Ord Irrigation Project, the region’s fossil history, and items dating back an incredible 1,800 million years. Later, return to the hotel to relax before enjoying dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 8
Kununurra (B,L,D)
Today we enjoy a spectacular Ord River experience as we journey through one of the Kimberley’s most breathtaking landscapes all the way to Lake Argyle. After a morning transfer from the hotel, we board our vessel at the marina and begin cruising along the beautiful Ord River. Along the way, take in the stunning scenery, lush vegetation, and abundant birdlife, while keeping watch for freshwater crocodiles basking along the riverbanks. During the cruise, we stop at a peaceful riverside camp to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch before continuing upstream towards the impressive Ord Top Dam. Viewing the dam from the Lake Kununurra side offers a true appreciation of its enormous scale and engineering significance. Following the cruise, we board our coach to cross the Ord Top Dam, stopping at a scenic lookout with sweeping views across the vast waters of Lake Argyle. We also visit the historic Durack Homestead Museum, a faithful reconstruction of the original family home built using the original stone from the homestead before it was relocated due to the creation of the lake. Travelling back through the historic Durack pastoral country, we return to the hotel in the afternoon. This evening, we celebrate our journey together with a Farewell Dinner at the iconic Pump House Restaurant. Originally built as part of the Ord River Irrigation System, this beautifully restored pump station now offers a unique dining experience on the banks of the Ord River, the perfect setting for a memorable final evening.
Day 9
Depart Kununurra (B)
This morning, it is time to say farewell to your fellow travellers after sharing unforgettable experiences, wonderful memories, and forming new friendships along the way. Following breakfast and check out we transfer to the airport for our departure flight home.
Please check with reservations before booking your flight. There will only be one group departure transfer.
You must advise at the time of booking your place on the Kimberley Adventure tour if you wish to do either of the following optional excursions (at additional cost). Full payment for these tours will be required at the time of making your tour deposit in order to guarantee your booking and is non-refundable. Please ensure you have travel insurance in the event you need to cancel. You will also be required to provide your weight in kilograms which will be advised to the flight operators.

Horizontal Falls Half Day Tour:
An early start this morning as you depart from your accommodation at approx. 5.00am, returning by 11.30am. Enjoy low level flying over the amazing islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago and Cape Leveque before the seaplane lands safely in the calm waters of Talbot Bay. The tour continues with an exciting cruise through the Horizontal Waterfalls, plus a relaxed island cruise followed by the shark show and swim in the marine viewing platform.
The additional cost for the optional scenic flight is $1,295.00* per adult (price is correct as at 12/06/2026 and subject to change by the scenic flight operator)
- Round-trip scenic seaplane flight from Broome

Bungle Bungle Adventure Flight:
The Bungle Bungle Range in the World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park, is one of the most fascinating geological landscapes in Western Australia. From an aircraft, Purnululu National Park is an imposing sight. The scenic flight takes you on an unforgettable adventure over the Bungle Bungle Range, Lake Argyle, the Argyle Diamond Mine and Ord River Irrigation Area. You will also fly over the stunning Carr Boyd Ranges, Osmand Ranges, the Ord River and the Bow River. The aircraft is an air-conditioned, high wing, beautifully presented aeroplane offering comfort, safety and spectacular viewing opportunities.
The additional cost for the optional scenic flight is $575.00* per adult (price is correct as at 12/06/2026 and subject to change by the scenic flight operator)

- Flights are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- This optional tour does book out quickly, so it is advisable to book as early as possible.
