How lucky are we to be able to travel the world.  I had my first overseas trip in 1999 and haven’t stopped since.

From the moment we have that thought bubble of “I would love to go to….” the excitement builds.  Collecting brochures, Google searches of destinations, talking with the travel agent, making bookings and then the wait till we board the plane knowing we are heading off on an adventure.

All destinations are different.  Different people, different cultures, different scenery and different foods.  It is so exciting to immerse myself in all this and more.  It is important to seize the opportunity to experience the very best that your trip has to offer.

Some of my most memorable experiences have been to visit the Neolithic settlement at Skara Brae (Orkney Islands), to stand at the summit of Pikes Peak (14115’) in Colorado, take a gondola ride in Venice and view the beautiful buildings as we cruised into Budapest.

I have found being a tour escort to be rewarding as I have been able to share my knowledge with travellers and help them get the best out of their trip.  In the process, I have made many new acquaintances and shared in many wonderful moments.
