In my youth I discovered that breaking out of my comfort zone by venturing to the UK on a working holiday was scary and uncomfortable but without doubt, this was the most fabulous introduction to the world of travel. Experiencing different foods & cultures, understanding the need for cultural sensitivity, learning how to respond to people in new places, developing new friendships, and gaining a true perspective on what’s really important in life are all skills that have allowed me to make the most of every travel experience to this day.
Working in the travel industry throughout my career has afforded me some of the most extraordinary opportunities and experiences. The Taj Mahal, meeting a grizzly bear in Banff National Park, a boat journey along the Mekong River, exploring the back streets of Kathmandu, losing myself in Venice (way too many canals), climbing Table Top Mountain in Cape Town, watching wild orangutans at play in Borneo, taking in a sunrise & sunset over Angkor Wat in Cambodia, cave surfing in the USA and having tailor-made garments made for me in Hoi-An…all for so little money!
What excites me most now is the opportunity to see the world through the eyes of others and to ensure your holiday experience will be one long remembered for all of the right reasons so you return home with tales of iconic sights and treasured memories. I look forward to being on hand to look after all of your travel needs from start to finish …all you need is your passport.
