As a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, travel has been the passion that has shaped both my career and my life. Originally from England and now proudly calling Queensland home since 2000, I bring more than 30 years of experience working with some of Australia’s, and the world’s, most recognised travel brands.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to visit more than 90 countries and have had the privilege of leading over 40 tours across the globe, from the frozen landscapes of Antarctica to the vibrant cultures of India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Africa, South America and the Middle East. I’ve always enjoyed a challenge, whether it’s trekking to Everest Base Camp, completing my own “Pilgrimage” along the Camino de Santiago, or standing on the summits of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kinabalu. Along the way, I’ve walked the Great Wall of China, led a yak-and-ger expedition through Mongolia, completed Papua New Guinea’s historic Kokoda Track, and hiked Peru’s Inca Trail three times, just to make sure I knew all the best photo spots!
Today, my greatest enjoyment comes from helping others experience the incredible places this world has to offer. Fresh from a 2,000-kilometre journey along the lower Danube River, from the Black Sea to Budapest, I look forward to sharing my passion, knowledge and sense of adventure as we create unforgettable travel memories together.

After a lifelong career in travel it’s safe to say I’m completely hooked. The buzz of an airport, the smell of jet fuel, and the plane taking off? Still love it!
