“Vorfreude” is a German word that describes the joyful anticipation that comes before experiencing something delightful.
For me pre-departure encapsulates this. I love pouring over maps, reading about the history of the destination, thinking of the delicious food that I will eat, as well as the excitement of meeting new people.
My family, best friends, and living in Australia have all been a result of travelling. Two decades of working in the travel industry – both with travel agents and airlines have allowed me to share my passion. As a tour host my aim is for everyone to enjoy their own experience to the maximum as well as helping others do the same.
